A total of 16 competitors have now qualified to compete in the Ulster Strongest Man Competition to be held in Cookstown on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May. The event, organised by Cookstown District Council and sponsored by Signworks is set to be a thrilling spectacle with competitors going head to head in six spectacular challenges.
Competitors range in age from 17 to 47 and weigh in from 16 to 24 stone. They hail from all over the North of Ireland from Co. Fermanagh to Down with the closest to home competitor coming from Dungannon, and of course competing will be the current Ulster's Strongest Man in 2011 Jonathon Kelly.
