Beaghmore Stone Circles
The famous stone circles are situated to the west of Lough Fea in the beautiful Owen Killen valley, 7.5 miles north of Pomeroy. There are 7 of these stone circles along with several cairns which date back to the early bronze-age. It is thought by leading archaeologists that these stones were one of the first sites of human settlement in Ireland
