Tiny Tots. Pre-School Education Centre has a job vacancy for a Pre-School Leader

We are currently seeking to recruit a Pre-School Leader in a part-time permanent post in Tiny Tots Pre-school.

Job Location: Dunamore, Kildress, Cookstown

Salary: Negotiable Hours: 25 (Additional Hours Depending on No. of Sessions)

Job Duties

· The Leader will manage the daily running of the playgroup to ensure safe, stimulating play in a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families.

· To ensure planning and preparation is carried out to a high standard and children are experiencing learning in all areas of the NI Pre-School curriculum.

· Observations and assessments are carried out regularly.

· Accurately record and disseminate key information.

· Provide leadership and support to staff.

· Adhere to all policies and procedures.

· Liaising with parents and Management Committee.

· Attending training and meetings outside of business hours.

Essential Criteria

BA Honours Degree Early Years, Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Childcare Learning and Development or Equivalent or NVQ Level 3 Childcare and willing to work towards QCF

Two years' paid experience of working in an early years setting.

Experience of planning, observations and record keeping.

Strong leadership qualities.

Excellent ICT skills.
