Keep the heating on all day our not?

Heating on low all day or not?

So as we fill up our oil tanks to get ready for the cold days ahead we become obsessed with the battle between energy saving and keeping the cold out. With the government’s lack of budget and strains on household bills, being energy efficient is at the forefront of everyone’s mind when it comes to putting the heating on.

The Energy Saving Trust says that you will save money by using a timer to heat your house at certain times rather than leaving the heat on low all day. They say that your home will lose a certain amount of energy from your heating anyway so by putting the heating on when needed it is much more effective.

I don't know the answer but I am sure we have some Electrician's or Plumbers who will.
